Founders FAQ
WHO:
Dangerous Ventures looks for passionate, determined and dedicated founders who are creating tech-enabled products and scalable solutions to help build a more sustainable and resilient future for people and the planet.
WHAT:
We believe that tech-enabled solutions have the greatest potential to make a significant difference for the largest number of people, but we will occasionally look at products that are not strictly tech-driven if they have the potential for scalable impact.
WHAT NOT:
We do not typically invest in Media, Crypto, or CPG. We avoid products that have potential concerns around user data and privacy, and we will not invest in products that have a detrimental effect on the environment or on people.
WHEN:
We fund primarily Pre-Seed and Seed stage companies, and very occasionally Series A.
WHERE:
We typically invest in companies based in the United States, but will also consider companies based in North America or Europe with an intention to enter the US market. We do not currently invest in companies outside of these regions.
INVESTMENT RATE:
We plan to make 2-3 investments each quarter.
